Pneumatic control valveHow to install it correctly?
Pneumatic control valve to compressed gas as the power source, the cylinder as the actuator, the use of valve positioner, converter, solenoid valve, check valve, gas tank, gas filter and other accessories to drive the valve to achieve switch or proportional adjustment, and receive the control signal from the industrial automation control system to complete the adjustment of various process parameters of the pipeline medium, such as flow, pressure, temperature, liquid level and so on. The valve positioner is the main accessory of the regulating valve and is widely used together with the pneumatic regulating valve. It receives the output signal of the regulator and then uses its output signal to control the pneumatic regulating valve. When the valve action, the displacement of the valve stem through the mechanical device feedback to the valve positioner, the valve position state through the electrical signal transmission to the upper system. According to the structure and working principle of the valve positioner, the valve positioner can be divided into pneumatic valve positioner, electro-pneumatic valve positioner and intelligent valve positioner. The valve positioner can increase the output power of the regulating valve, reduce the transmission lag of the regulating signal, speed up the movement of the valve stem, improve the linearity of the valve, overcome the friction of the valve stem, and eliminate the influence of unbalanced force, so as to ensure the correct positioning of the regulating valve.
The actuator can be divided into pneumatic actuator and electric actuator, including straight stroke and angular stroke. Used for automatic and manual opening and closing of various cutting doors, air baffles, etc.
Installation principle of pneumatic control valve
(1) The installation position of the pneumatic control valve should be a certain height from the ground, and a certain space should be reserved at the top and bottom of the valve to facilitate the disassembly and maintenance of the valve. For control valves equipped with pneumatic valve positioners and handwheels, ensure easy operation, observation and adjustment.
(2) The regulating valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline and perpendicular to the pipeline. Generally, it should be supported under the valve to ensure stability and reliability. For special occasions, when the control valve needs to be installed horizontally on the vertical pipeline, the control valve should also be supported (except for small diameter control valves). During installation, avoid applying additional stress to the control valve).
(3) The working environment temperature of the pneumatic control valve should be (-30 ~ +60), and the relative humidity should be no more than 95% and 95% respectively.
(4) before and after the control valve should be set straight pipe section, its length is not less than 10 times the pipe diameter (10D), in order to avoid the valve straight pipe section is too short and affect the flow characteristics.
(5) If the diameter of the pneumatic control valve is different from the diameter of the process pipeline, a reducer pipe should be used for connection. When installing small-bore control valves, threaded connections can be used. The fluid direction arrow on the valve body should be in line with the fluid direction.
(6) A bypass pipe shall be provided. The purpose is to facilitate switching or manual operation, and the control valve can be overhauled without stopping the machine.
(7) in the installationPneumatic control valveBefore that, foreign matter such as dirt and welding slag in the pipeline should be removed.
