Butterfly valve installation notes
Installation environment: butterfly valve can be used both indoors and outdoors, but in corrosive media and easy to rust, the corresponding material combination should be used. For special working conditions, please consult Zhongzhi valve.
Plant location: It must be installed in a place that can be operated safely and is easy to maintain, inspect and repair.
Ambient environment: temperature -20 ℃ ~ +70 ℃, humidity below 90% RH. Before installation, check whether the valve meets the working conditions according to the nameplate mark on the valve. Note: The butterfly valve does not have the ability to resist high pressure difference, do not let the butterfly valve open or continuous flow under high pressure difference.
Before installation, please remove the dirt and oxide scale in the pipeline. When installing, please note that the flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the flow arrow marked on the valve body.
Align the front and rear piping centers, make the flange interfaces parallel, and lock the screws evenly. Pay attention to the pneumatic butterfly valve without excessive piping stress on the cylinder control valve. According to the size and weight of the cylinder control valve, give proper support and fixation on the pipe or the body.
Maintenance Considerations
Daily inspection: check for leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, etc.
Regular inspection: valves and other system components should be regularly checked for leakage, rust and Caton, and its maintenance, cleaning, dust removal, residual stains, etc.
Disassembly inspection: the valve should be periodically disassembled and overhauled. During disassembly and overhaul, the parts should be washed again, foreign matter, stains and rust spots should be removed, damaged or severely worn gaskets and fillers should be replaced, and the sealing surface should be corrected. After overhaul, the valve should be subjected to hydraulic test again, and can be reused only after passing the test.
If there is fluid leakage during the inspection of pneumatic butterfly valve, please do not touch or approach the cylinder control valve with your hands until the safety is confirmed.
