1. Product Overview
The 500X pressure relief holding valve is mainly used in fire fighting or other water supply systems to prevent system overpressure or maintain the pressure of the fire fighting water supply system. The impact of water hammer can also be reduced when the fire pump is turned off. It is also used for water hammer devices in large water supply systems. And the inlet of the valve control system is equipped with a clean filter, the use of fluid characteristics, so that the proportion of larger, larger diameter suspended particles will not enter the control system, to ensure that the system circulation unimpeded, so that the valve can operate safely and reliably. The system is stable, high strength and long service life.
Working principle:
1. As a pressure relief valve: when the pressure relief/holding pressure pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure relief state, water flows to the outlet through the needle valve, main valve control room, ball valve A, pressure relief/holding pressure pilot valve and ball valve B. At this time, the main valve is in an open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety value set by the pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve, the pressure relief pilot valve will automatically open, and part of the water will be released through the ball valve C to relieve the pressure of the pipeline. When the pressure returns to a safe value, the pressure relief valve closes automatically. When the pressure relief valve is used, each ball valve is normally open.
2. As a holding valve: when the pressure relief/holding pressure pilot valve is adjusted to the holding pressure state, as long as the inlet water pressure of the main valve is lower than the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve will be closed. The main control room is boosted and the main valve is closed. When the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pressure holding pilot valve can be opened. The water in the control room is discharged to the outlet through the ball valve. The pressure-reducing main valve in the control room is opened to start water supply, thus maintaining the upstream water pressure. When used as a holding valve, ball valve C is normally closed or replaced with a plug.
