Pneumatic high performance butterfly valve
The double eccentric design of the valve plate and the valve stem reduces the wear of the valve seat and ensures the two-way airtight closing function within the entire pressure range. At the starting point of the valve seat, the eccentric valve plate produces a cam-like effect, and the valve plate can be pulled away from the valve seat without excessive pressure. The valve plate in the starting position of this similar cam parts, reduce seat wear, minimize the deformation of the valve seat. When the valve is opened, because the valve plate does not contact the valve seat, the life of the valve seat is extended and the operating torque is small. When the valve is closed, this similar cam action converts the rotary motion of the valve to a straight stroke motion, effectively pushing the valve plate to reach the valve seat. The valve plate swabs the valve seat to avoid the accumulation of foreign matter such as mud and suspended solids.
